The Short Answer
October to April is the best time. Spring and Autumn offer perfect temperatures for both water activities and land tours.

The Sweet Spot: October/November and March/April have water temps around 24–26°C and air temps in the high 20s.
Summer (June-Aug): Very hot (35°C+), but excellent for kitesurfing and windsurfing due to consistent, strong winds.
Winter (Dec-Feb): Sunny days (20–22°C) but can be windy. Water is cooler (21°C); a 3mm or 5mm wetsuit is usually needed.
The Wind: Hurghada is windier than Sinai. Always check wind forecasts before booking full-day boat trips.
Ramadan: A beautiful time to visit for culture, though local life slows down during the day and peaks after sunset.
